emmas work so far

as the theme is friendship i asked people how they define friendship as a starting point:

-friends are pretty good (except tasker)
- make you feel like the only person in the world that matters when your feeling down and there no matter what.
- no matter what friends are what keep you going... :)
- someone who you can fart infront of without blusing haha, someone who will answer the phone all hours and listen to you moan, someone who leave everything and go see you when your cowering behind the sofa with a golf club, someone who you can trust with everything.
- people you want to spend time with and you can be yourself with.
- when you can fuck up big style and then make up with no hard feelings - thats good friendship. Also someone who knows your faults but likes you anyway.
- when you can tell someone/ they can tell you anything and theres no judegement. when your feeling shitty there the person you can turn too. its like an intense relationship without the sex!
- in college i noticed how people would constantly go around and bitch and moan and fall out with the poeple which they called there 'friends'. in my imidiate freindship group if we ever have a problem with each other its brought up then jokes are made then were all cool. so to me friends are people you will know for now and will always be able to be yourself around and do stupid stuff and trust and will always be there for you.
- it depends on the person, acceptance of people including flaws, a degree of love, caring, contact and similar views. the ability to say the right thing, not what they want to hear. A true friend would drop things to make sure there friend is ok. Compassion and the ability to laugh at each other without causing offence. Also someone you can learn from.
- to me friendship is non judgemental and unconditional, a true friend doesnt talk about you behind your back and you love them even when they drive you mad!
- friendship is the bond between two or more people in where you know you can trust them with pretty much anything and they will always have your back and look after you.
-no matter what you do a friend stands behind you, mutual respect and comfortable in silence
- yeh get high with a little help from yeh friends yeh get by with a litte help from yeh friends :P also the lyrics to 'friends will be friends' by queen was included in this message :D

Thats all the responce i have for now but il add more if i get them. All these people are aged from 19-40.

They are currently developing a project called the 'Natures Gallery' which is getting local people to take photographs of the wildlife around the park and submit them to the website where they will be shown. There is one guy in perticular, Dennis Bell who had took some amasing photos. I was thinking you could either take the photos ourselfs or use the ones that are already there by getting intouch with either him or the sculpure park. oliver.brown@ysp.co.uk is the email adress of the guy who is running it.
With the photographs i thought they could be turned into postcards, stamps, prints etc. and have information about the animal on the front. (there is really good info on the website) there could be a series for each one, say pick 4 birds and use different images, and could either focus on one type of animal or do different animals so it was an on going project to encourage people to keep coming back and also buy the products.
My target audience was going to be young photographers (20-40) say, that take a keen interest in the outdoors and wildlife. By including information about the image its not just a picture too.

I have done some very basic sketches of layouts and stuff but i will bring them to our lesson.

Well yeh theres my idea, other people seems to have different stuff but i thought i might aswell put this on hear.

  1. A true friend is one that even when you're being really horrible to them because you're having a bad day, they love you anyway.

  2. Good friends don't care about spellings, what you say and mean is so much more important than how it's spelt.
